Playground Surf Resort is located in one of the most desired surf destinations in the world, the Mentawai Islands, west of Sumatra, Indonesia. We have over 20 surf breaks around the resort plus a few secrets spots that our surf guide will take you to surf uncrowded waves along side your friends.​

We offer functional and comfortable accommodation built on Indonesian style, with thatched roofing and hardwood structure in a solid rock foundation using anti-earthquake technology. The main house has a wooden deck floor amongst a natural landscape with a vast beach front. We also have an unique 20-meter natural pier stone, with floating wooden platform for loading and unloading.

Our goal is to preserve local culture and traditions and we uphold the greatest care of the local environment and local agriculture activities, including the farming of cloves which are in abundance in the area and are farmed for use in the making of the famous "GUDANG GARAM" cigarettes from Indonesia.
